Mumbai: CM Eknath Shinde performs Sri Ganesh Puja at Varsha residence
Mumbai, Aug 31: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with his wife Lata Shinde today performed puja of Lord Sri Ganesh at his official residence Varsha to mark the advent of Sri Ganesh Festival.
Chief Minister’s son MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde, daughter in law Vrushali Shinde, grandson Master Rudransh and other family members, officers and employees were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister prayed before Lord Ganapati seeking his blessings for completing the resolve of the development of Maharashtra and also sought his benediction for the betterment of the people of the state.
He appealed to the people to celebrate this Ganesh Festival in a restriction-free atmosphere while maintaining social harmony and goodwill and without harming the environmental balance.
He called upon the people to make a renewed resolve for development of Maharashtra and work unitedly, braving all the challenges towards its fulfillment in the near future. “Let’s all make an all out effort for developing our state”, he said.
