If There Is A Food Crisis, We Will Not Be Able To Handle It: PM Modi’s Message To The World On Ukraine War

Bali, 15th November 2022: Addressing the meeting of G-20 countries, PM Narendra Modi has given a message of peace by ending the Ukraine war. He said, “I have repeated many times that we have to find a solution to the Ukraine war by moving on the path of ceasefire and diplomacy.” PM Modi said the world had seen devastation in the last century during the Second World War. The leaders of that time had made serious efforts to come out of that crisis and came on the path of peace. Addressing the G-20 in Bali, the Prime Minister said that a new world order is now being prepared after Corona and its responsibility is now on the current generation.

He said that the need of the hour is to take firm steps for peace, harmony and security. PM Modi said, “We are confident that next year when we meet on the land of Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, we will be able to give the message of peace to the world.” The Prime Minister said that due to the war in Ukraine, there is a food crisis in the world, and the supply chain has also weakened. “We have promoted natural farming for food security in the country. Apart from this, traditional crops are being promoted. This will be possible through millet, and this will tackle malnutrition and hunger in the world,” he explained.

The PM said that there is a shortage of fertilizer in the world today. Tomorrow it may turn into a food crisis. If this happens, the world will have no solution for it. He said that they have to make a decision so there is no adverse effect on the supply chain of food grains. Not only this, but PM Modi also gave a message to the world to move towards renewable energy. He said that by 2030, half of the electricity requirement will be from renewable energy. He said that this will also reduce the expenditure, and will move towards sustainable development.

The Prime Minister said that India’s energy security is essential for the development of the world. It is the fastest-growing economy in the world. We should not impose any restrictions on the supply of energy. Stability in the energy market has to be promoted. India is committed to accelerating development in clean energy and the environment.
