Yogi Adityanath Slams Congress, Accuses It of Being Soft on Terrorism During Rajasthan Campaign Rally
Jaipur, 8th April 2024: On Sunday, while campaigning for party candidates in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath aimed at the Congress, accusing it of being soft on “terror suspects” and labelling it as the “biggest problem” in the country.
During his first campaign rally outside of Uttar Pradesh since the announcement of the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, Adityanath asserted that the Congress party’s DNA includes imposing curfews and prioritizing the interests of terrorists over the welfare of the poor. He made these remarks at well-attended rallies in Rajasthan.
Adityanath criticized the Congress for neglecting the construction of the Ram temple and disregarding figures like Lord Ram and Lord Krishna as imaginary. He highlighted the BJP’s accomplishments during Prime Minister Modi’s tenure, emphasizing the strengthening of India’s borders and the crackdown on terrorism.
He pointed out that under PM Modi’s leadership, the country has made significant strides in various sectors, including the successful handling of Naxalism, terrorism, and unrest in Kashmir. Adityanath also highlighted the progress in Kashmir, with increased tourism and the safe conduct of religious pilgrimages.
Inviting the people of Dausa to visit Ayodhya, Adityanath emphasized the transformative changes brought about by the BJP government, including free ration distribution to 80 crore poor people and the successful handling of COVID-19.
He praised PM Modi’s dedication to the country’s security and development, citing examples such as the construction of the Ram temple and Modi’s interactions with soldiers on the borders.
Adityanath urged voters to support Modi to strengthen India further and highlighted the BJP government’s welfare schemes benefiting millions of Indians, including health insurance for 60 crore people and financial support for farmers through the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme.
He concluded by mentioning the Bharat Ratna conferred on former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh by the BJP government and contrasted the policy-driven approach of the BJP with the alleged leaderless and policyless state of the Congress government.
