Pune: Maratha Leader Manoj Jarange Patil Urges Unity for Reservation Rights in Pimpri-Chinchwad

Pimpri Chinchwad, 7th April 2024: Manoj Jarange Patil has issued a heartfelt plea to the Maratha community, emphasizing the importance of unity and collective action over individual candidacy. Speaking to reporters in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Jarange urged his fellow community members to prioritize the pursuit of justice over political aspirations. He stressed the significance of standing alongside those who prioritize the welfare of their kin.

Jarange emphasized the prevalent frustration within the Maratha community, affirming their intent to participate in the upcoming election. However, he clarified that their focus lies beyond mere political representation; rather, their primary concern is securing reservation rights. As a result, they have refrained from endorsing any specific candidate or party. Jarange asserted the community’s determination to assert their influence in the electoral process and remove any obstacles hindering their cause.

Addressing attempts to marginalize him by the Home Minister, Jarange remained resolute, highlighting ongoing efforts to fabricate charges and intimidate individuals in Maharashtra. He cautioned that such tactics would backfire on the government.

Jarange set a deadline, stating that if the Maratha community doesn’t receive reservations by June 6, they will mobilize to capture the assembly. He underscored unity within the community, dismissing any notion of collaboration with Prakash Ambedkar and emphasizing a singular focus on their shared goals. Jarange urged voters to remember the injustices faced by their community, regardless of political affiliations, and urged them to support leaders who prioritize their interests over alliances.
