Bihar Man Files Case Against Rahul Gandhi Over Alleged Financial Loss of Rs 250 Due to Remarks on RSS

Patna: A man from Bihar has filed a case against Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, alleging financial loss caused by a statement made by the politician. The complainant, Mukesh Kumar Chaudhary, claimed he accidentally spilled a five-litre bucket of milk, worth ₹250, after being shocked by Gandhi’s remarks.

Chaudhary stated that he was deeply disturbed by Rahul Gandhi’s assertion that “the BJP and RSS have captured every single institution, and we are now fighting the BJP, the RSS, and the Indian state itself.” According to him, the shock led to the accidental loss of the milk, priced at ₹50 per litre.

In his complaint, Chaudhary further accused Rahul Gandhi of threatening national sovereignty and demanded his trial under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including Section 152, which deals with sedition.
This case comes shortly after an FIR was lodged against Rahul Gandhi at Guwahati’s Pan Bazar police station over similar comments. Gandhi had made the controversial statement while addressing Congress leaders during the inauguration of the party’s new headquarters on Kotla Road, New Delhi.

During his speech, he said, “Do not think we are fighting a fair fight. There is no fairness in this. If you believe that we are fighting a political organisation called the BJP or the RSS, you have not understood what is going on. The BJP and the RSS have captured every single institution of our country. We are now fighting the BJP, the RSS, and the Indian state itself.”
