Pune: MLA Ram Satpute Leads Hindu Jangarjana March in Hadapsar, Calls for Anti-Conversion Law in Maharashtra

Hadapsar, 10th September 2023: BJP MLA Ram Satpute led a Hindu Jangarjana march in Hadapsar, Pune, expressing his strong belief in pushing for the implementation of the Hindu Conversion Act in Maharashtra. The event took place in front of Lohia Udyan, where a passionate message against the conversion of Hindus was delivered.

MLA Ram Satpute, accompanied by several prominent figures including former MLA Yogesh Tilekar, Shiv Sena city chief Nana Bhangire, former corporators Marutiaba Tupe and Ujwala Jangle, along with other local leaders and community members, addressed the gathering.

During his speech, MLA Ram Satpute highlighted a pressing issue, stating, “For years, there have been reports of women being subjected to heinous crimes, and when they seek justice, they are often accused instead. Hindus will not stand for such false allegations. It’s imperative that the police take notice of this situation. The Hindu community has awakened, and we can expect an anti-conversion law in Maharashtra soon.”

Former MLA Yogesh Tilekar voiced concerns about the encroachment of conversion in Hadapsar over the last decade, emphasizing the need for collective action among Hindu citizens to curb this trend.

Shiv Sena city chief Pramod Nana Bhangire echoed these sentiments, asserting, “Hindus have been patient, living in a Hindu-majority nation. However, recent instances of conversions are unacceptable. It is essential that we recognize the changing landscape and take action. Love Jihad, where individuals disguise their intentions, is a matter of grave concern. Hindus must be vigilant and rise to the occasion.”
