PM Modi Criticizes Congress, Warns Against Reversal of Ram Mandir Verdict

Dhar, 8th May 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi intensified his criticism of the Congress on Tuesday, following claims by an expelled leader of the opposition party alleging Rahul Gandhi’s intentions to reverse the Supreme Court’s decision on the Ram Mandir. Addressing a gathering in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar, PM Modi expressed his desire for the BJP-led NDA to secure 400 seats, aiming to prevent the Congress from reinstating Article 370 in Kashmir and obstructing progress on the Ram temple in Ayodhya.

“It’s crucial for the nation to understand that the BJP-led NDA already holds over 400 seats in Parliament. We utilized this majority to revoke Article 370,” the PM emphasized.

Modi reiterated his wish for 400 seats to thwart Congress’s potential actions regarding Article 370 and the Ram temple. He highlighted a recent challenge he posed to the Congress, urging them to publicly declare their stance against religious-based reservations.

During another rally in Madhya Pradesh’s Khargone, PM Modi cautioned against the Congress’s perilous intentions. He cited testimonies from former Congress members, indicating discontent and alleging the infiltration of radical elements within the party.

Referring to statements made by former Congress leader Acharya Pramod Krishnam, PM Modi underscored Rahul Gandhi’s purported intention to challenge the Supreme Court’s Ram temple verdict if the Congress were to assume power. Krishnam claimed Gandhi’s expressed desire to reverse the court’s directive during a meeting following the Ram Mandir decision.

Further addressing concerns over the Congress’s stance on national security, PM Modi condemned the party’s perceived affinity for Pakistan and instances of anti-national rhetoric within its ranks. He pointed to remarks made by former Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi and Congress leader Vijay Varithawar, accusing them of undermining India’s security interests and questioning the integrity of its armed forces.

In response to Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s assertive stance on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), PM Modi criticized Farooq Abdullah’s dismissive remarks, emphasizing the need for a unified and resolute approach to national security challenges.
