BJP Becomes Active in Maharashtra, Shinde-Fadnavis Meeting Raises Concern; Thackeray Hopes from Pawar

Mumbai, 26th June 2022: Shiv Sena’s internal crisis in Maharashtra is taking a new political turn. While the Shiv Sena is trying to save its party more than the government, the BJP’s activism is also now visible to form the new government.

Meanwhile, the news of a meeting between Shiv Sena’s rebel leader Eknath Shinde and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis has also come, but the BJP has not broken its silence on the whole matter yet.

The BJP has not come out in the open even after claiming that the rebel faction of Shiv Sena has the support of two-thirds of the MLAs.There is got to be some reason for this. According to sources, the BJP wants that the rebel faction should be recognized in the assembly first or there should be a split in the Shiv Sena at the organizational level along with the legislature party and MPs.

The rebel factions themselves claim to be the real Shiv Sena. In such situations, the membership of the rebel MLAs will not only be maintained but a merger with the BJP will also be avoided.

Waiting for Pawar’s steps

Meanwhile, all eyes are also on NCP leader Sharad Pawar’s future stand whether he makes any effort to save the Maha Vikas Aghadi government or leaves Shivsena to its fate. At present, Shiv Sena is fighting the battle alone. Shiv Sena’s crisis has also increased due to the arrival of less-than-expected leaders in various meetings called by Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray. On the other hand, the rebels are also slowly moving forward very carefully and have taken such a step so that the bet doesn’t get out of their hands.

The situation will be clear in a day or two

What happened in the meeting of Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis in Vadodara on the intervening night of Friday-Saturday has not come out yet. What happened in Mumbai, Vadodara and Guwahati is a major exercise in the direction of future government formation in the state. It is believed that the situation will be clear in the next day or two.

BJP is not in a hurry

The BJP leadership is also not in a hurry in this matter and it will reveal its strategy only after the complete breakdown of Shiv Sena when the situation is clear. It is believed that now it is not possible for the Maha Vikas Aghadi government to run in the state and slowly the BJP-led government is getting a way to form the government.
