Yogi Cabinet Meeting, 22 Proposals Including Industrial Investment Policy Approved

Uttar Pradesh, 3rd November 2022: A cabinet meeting was held at Lok Bhavan on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. During this, many important decisions were stamped. The Director General of Secondary and Basic Education will now be one. Giving information, Minister Sandeep Singh said that this decision will improve the education system.

22 important decisions taken: 

  • Regarding the issuance of a letter of intent for the establishment of SDGI Global University, Ghaziabad, in the private sector under the Uttar Pradesh Private Universities Act, 2019.
  • Regarding the issuance of a letter of intent for the establishment of Major SD Singh University, Fatehgarh, Farrukhabad, Uttar Pradesh in the private sector under the Uttar Pradesh Private University Act, 2019.
  • Regarding the issuance of a letter of intent for the establishment of JSS University, Noida in the private sector under Uttar Pradesh Private University Act, 2019.
  • In connection with the provision of Irrigation Department land for canal construction related to the Saryu Canal National Project in Siddharthnagar district.
  • Regarding the transfer of 160.7608 hectares of non-forest land instead of 127. 1637 hectares of forest land are required for canal systems under Kanhar Irrigation Project.
  • Regarding amendment in the mandate of the Revenue Department to transfer the land of the Divisional Commissioner Office Complex, Varanasi (Revenue Department) free of cost on the withdrawal of the Housing and City Planning Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh for the proposed integrated divisional level office construction project in Varanasi district.
  • Regarding the reorganization of the police commissioner system.
  • Delegation of powers and duties to the Director General, School Education by integrating all Directorates/offices of the Basic Education Department under the control of the Director General, School Education as well as all Directorates/Offices under the control of the Secondary Education Department
  • Regarding the amendment in the Uttar Pradesh Data Center Policy-2021 notified by Uttar Pradesh
  • Regarding the adoption of the system of determining the period for starting commercial operations under the Uttar Pradesh Information Technology and Startup Policy-2017 and approval/approval of financial incentives to the investors.
  • Regarding the amendment in Uttar Pradesh Startup Policy 2020 notified by Uttar Pradesh.
  • Uttar Pradesh Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy – 2022.
  • Rural police stations added in Police Commissionerate Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur.
  • Six rural police stations were added in Lucknow, 12 police stations were added in Varanasi, and 14 rural police stations were added in Kanpur.
