Transfer Orders Issued for 20 IAS Officers in Maharashtra
Mumbai, 2nd June 2023: The Maharashtra government has issued transfer orders for several IAS officers in the state. The reshuffling of postings aims to bring about administrative efficiency and ensure effective governance across various departments.
Prominent among the transfers is Sujata Saunik, a 1987 batch IAS officer, who has been appointed as the Additional Chief Secretary (Home) in the Home Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. S.V.R. Srinivas, a 1991 batch IAS officer, previously serving as the Municipal Commissioner of MMRDA, Mumbai, has been designated as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) for the Dharavi Redevelopment Project in Mumbai.
Lokesh Chandra, a 1993 batch IAS officer, who was the General Manager of BEST, Mumbai, has been appointed as the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of MAHADISCOM in Mumbai. Radhika Rastogi, a 1995 batch IAS officer, has been posted as the Principal Secretary and Development Commissioner in the Planning Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai.
Furthermore, I.A. Kundan, a 1996 batch IAS officer, previously serving as the Principal Secretary of the Women and Child Welfare Department, has been reassigned as the Principal Secretary of the Minority Development Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. Sanjeev Jaiswal, a 1996 batch IAS officer, who held the position of Principal Secretary in the Water Supply and Sanitation Department, has been appointed as the Vice President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MHADA in Mumbai.
Vijay Singhal, a 1997 batch IAS officer, who was the CMD of MAHADISCOM, Mumbai, has been designated as the General Manager of BEST, Mumbai. Anshu Sinha, a 1999 batch IAS officer, previously serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the M.S. Khadi Village Industries Board, Mumbai, has been appointed as the Secretary of the OBC Bahujan Welfare Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai.
The government has also transferred Anup Kr. Yadav, Tukaram Mundhe, Dr. Amit Saini, Chandrakant Pulkundwar, Dr. Manik Gursal, Kadambari Balkawade, Pradipkumar Dange, Shantanu Goel, Prithviraj B.P., Dr. Hemant Vasekar, and Dr. Sudhakar Shinde to new postings, covering various departments across the state.
These transfers are expected to bring fresh perspectives and enhance the overall administrative functioning of the concerned departments. The officers will assume their new responsibilities with immediate effect.
