Pune Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar Transferred, Dr Rajendra Bhosale Becomes New PMC Commissioner

Pune, 15th March 2024: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Maharashtra government has issued transfer orders affecting key positions across various departments.

1. Vikram Kumar (IAS:MH:2004), who served as the Municipal Commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation in Pune, has been appointed as the Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), Mumbai. Kumar brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, having previously served in pivotal positions within the state administration.

2. Dr. Rajendra Bhosale (IAS:MH:2008) has been designated as the new Municipal Commissioner of the Pune Municipal Corporation, succeeding Shri Vikram Kumar. With a proven track record and a deep understanding of urban governance, Dr. Bhosale is expected to lead Pune’s municipal affairs effectively.

3. Lahu Mali (IAS:MH:2009), another seasoned bureaucrat, has been entrusted with the responsibility of Director, Disaster Management, within the Relief and Rehabilitation Department at Mantralaya, Mumbai. Mali’s appointment underscores the government’s commitment to bolstering disaster preparedness and response mechanisms across the state.

4. Kailash Pagare (IAS:MH:2010), who previously served as the Managing Director of the M.S. Cotton Growers Marketing Federation in Mumbai, has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Integrated Tribal Development Scheme in Navi Mumbai. Pagare’s transfer reflects the government’s focus on advancing the welfare and development initiatives for tribal communities in the region.
