Rebel MLAs Sold Like Price Tags, Says Aaditya Thackeray
Mumbai, 24th June 2022: Maharashtra’s Tourism and Environment Minister Aaditya Thackeray has stated his opinion on the rebellion of Eknath Shinde for the first time. In a meeting, while speaking with Shiv Sena’s District Chiefs from Shiv Sena Bhavan, he criticised the MLAs who rebelled, as ‘price tags’.
In an emotional appeal, he said, “It is up to us how much importance we give to them (rebelled MLAs). Previously, too, some had rebelled against Shiv Sena. But at that time, they went from the opposition party to the ruling party.”
“I feel bad when people are backstabbing our CM when he is trying to keep Maharashtra stable, united and peaceful”, he further added.
He also said, “While we were leaving ‘Varsha’ bungalow, the workers over there and the Shivsainks on the roads were all in tears.
These rebels took advantage of the corona situation back then. But as Uddhav Thackeray has said, don’t stop anyone, they will be benefited for some days, but we cannot assure about their future.”
