Questions raised on Eknath Shinde’s ‘Hindutva’, Shiv Sena blames BJP for rebellion

Mumbai, 25th June 2022: Now Shiv Sena has also intensified verbal attacks against rebel MLA Eknath Shinde. the party has raised questions about Shinde’s Hindutva itself.

Shiv Sena leader Priyanka Chaturvedi on Friday accused Shinde of ‘stabbing in the back’. Along with this, she has also blamed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for throwing the shards of rebellion at them.

Talking to NDTV, Chaturvedi said, “Which Hindutva teaches you to stab your party in the back, which is like family?”.

The special thing is that Shinde is claiming that the Shiv Sena party has deviated from its Hindutva ideology. But, Chaturvedi says that the reason behind what the rebel MLAs are doing is not ideology.

“He was given the second most important ministry, urban development, which the chief minister usually keeps with him. His son is MP”, she said.

The Shiv Sena leader also claimed that the party was in touch with some of the MLAs who were accompanying Shinde.

Priyanka also called the claim of Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut breaking the alliance with Congress and NCP a challenge. “That statement was put as a challenge so that instead of talking from Guwahati, he would come to Mumbai and face us. It was a challenge which would expose him further,” she said.

At the same time, on the possibilities of an alliance, she said, ‘The decision on alliance cannot be forced on us. We had asked him to come and talk… It is too late now.’

She also denied those things, where it was being said that perhaps some mistakes of Uddhav Thackeray have led to the rebellion.

Chaturvedi said, “If there are any issues, we could sit and talk. BJP is preparing their letters now. Eknath Shinde has already said that ‘Mahashakti’ is supporting him.”

The special thing is that CM Thackeray is also being accused that he remains missing and does not meet the leaders, to which Chaturvedi cited the Covid lockdown and ill health as the reason.
