YSRCP Leader V Vijaysai Reddy Resigns from Rajya Sabha Citing Personal Reasons

New Delhi, 25th January 2025: On Saturday, YSRCP leader V Vijaysai Reddy stepped down from his position as a Rajya Sabha member, citing personal reasons. He submitted his resignation to Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.

Speaking to reporters, Reddy explained that although he had three and a half years remaining in his six-year term, he chose to resign for personal reasons.

“I have handed over my resignation to the Vice President and Chairman of the Rajya Sabha, and it has been accepted,” Reddy stated following his meeting with Vice President Dhankhar.
