Rahul Gandhi States That There Is No Issue In Congress’ Organisational Structure

Jaipur, 16th December 2022: Rahul Gandhi addressed a press conference in Rajasthan to mark the conclusion of the 100th day of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. In the press conference, Rahul Gandhi commented on the ongoing internal conflict in Rajasthan Congress. Rahul Gandhi said, “The main issue of the Congress party is that the voice of the grassroots workers should be heard. As far as rhetoric is concerned, it is for the press. You make fun of it; it sells your papers. But there is no problem in our organizational structure.”

He further said, “Our party is not fascist or dictatorial. We are open to discussion and debate. We tolerate it. And it is not just about Rajasthan. It has been the tradition of the Congress that if any party leader wants to say something, we do not stop them.” Rahul further said they keep in mind that the party does not suffer a loss due to someone’s disagreement.

“Remember my point, Congress is going to defeat BJP because we are a party that will not stop fighting,” he added. Talking about several Congress leaders leaving the party, Rahul Gandhi said, “They are welcome to leave as they cannot fight the BJP. I will not say that Congress did not make any mistakes in the past. I also feel that Congress leaders, including me, have gone away from the public. This distance is not a physical distance but a distance of pain. In our journey, we can feel the pain of common people.”

Talking to reporters, Rahul Gandhi said that China is preparing for war, but the Indian Government is not accepting it. On 9th December, hundreds of Chinese soldiers came to the Tawang sector of Arunachal Pradesh to remove the Indian post. Indian forces, showing courage, pushed back the Chinese army. The matter was also raised by the opposition parties in the Parliament.
