No Terror Angle Found On Suspected Boat With Weapons, Owner Is An Australian Woman: Fadnavis
Mumbai, 19th September 2022: Maharashtra Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis has said something to allay the concerns about a suspicious boat laden with weapons found on the beach in Raigad near Mumbai. He said, “No terror angle of this boat has come to the fore in the investigation so far. The name of this boat is Lady Han, and its owner is a woman from Australia.”
Fadnavis further said, “The captain of this boat is the husband of the same woman. This boat was going from Muscat to Europe, and during its journey, the engine broke down. The people aboard the boat made a distress call, and the Korean ship rescued these people.”
The boat then slowly reached the shore, and due to high tide, this boat could not be pulled out during that time. He said, “At present, no terror angle has been found, but the festive season is going on, and we have put security on alert.”
