Mumbai, 20th September 2022: For the past few days, politics has heated up over the Dussehra gathering in the state upon who exactly should permit the meeting when the court has not yet resolved the issue. It appears that the administration is in a state of ambivalence. A letter seeking permission in this regard was submitted by Uddhav’s Shiv Sena on 22nd August, but a decision has not yet been taken on it.
After that, a letter has been filed for permission from the Shinde group as well. Now the possibility of another conflict after this controversy has arisen. Former mayor of Mumbai and Shiv Sena leader Milind Vaidya went to the G-North division office of the municipality today and asked for permission for the gathering. Speaking to the media at the time, he has given a serious warning.
While the controversy was raging over whose Dussehra gathering will be held at Shivaji Park, Shiv Sena officials and activists visited the G-North division office of the municipality today and inquired about the permission for the gathering. Speaking about this, Milind Vaidya said, “Shiv Sainiks will gather where Uddhav Thackeray says.”
