CM Gehlot’s Son Summoned To Appear In Front Of Court

Rajasthan, 26th October 2023: Chief Minister Gehlot has shared details about the summons from the Enforcement Directorate on Twitter. In the same post, he criticized the BJP government at the Center for the series of actions taken by the ED. He accused the Central Government of not wanting the women, farmers, and poor in Rajasthan to benefit from Congress’ promises. On Thursday morning, the ED conducted a raid on the residence of Rajasthan Congress President Govind Dotasara in connection with an alleged paper leak case. It’s worth noting that the new government formation vote is scheduled for November 25, 2023, in Rajasthan. Congress has nominated Govind Dotasara for the Laxmangarh assembly seat, pitting him against BJP’s Subhash Mahariya, the incumbent MLA.

ED also conducted searches at Dotasara’s properties in Sikar and Jaipur, as well as at the residences of others, including Omprakash Hoodla, the party’s candidate from Mahua assembly seat in Dausa. This action by ED in Rajasthan has sparked widespread criticism. State Government Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas took aim at the Central Government, asserting that such activities are not unusual during elections. He emphasized that the government in Rajasthan has not committed any wrongdoing and, in fact, has incarcerated those responsible for the paper leak. He stressed the need to keep revenge out of politics.

Khachariyawas further pointed out that the Congress-led government in Rajasthan has never taken retaliatory action against any BJP leader from another state and urged the BJP to refrain from similar tactics.
