Speculations Of Congress Members From Maharashtra Joining The BJP Further Fuel Turmoil In State Politics

It is being said that Congress MLA from Jalgaon district, Shirish Choudhary can join the BJP anytime.
Through speeches of BJP leaders in Maharashtra, there are indications that many more Congress leaders are in touch with the BJP. However, Congress state president Nana Patole’s claim is just the opposite. He says that some BJP leaders are in touch with the Congress. Amid these claims, the politics of Maharashtra has heated up.
It is being said that the BJP has made preparations to give a jolt to the Congress. In Jalgaon district too, it will begin with Congress MLA Raver Shirish Choudhary joining the BJP.
MLA Shirish Chaudhary has also reacted to the matter of joining the BJP. “For the past few days, I have been getting calls from many BJP workers and office bearers. But now there is no such situation that I should join the BJP.”
He further said, “It is a rumour. This rumour is being spread by BJP workers as well as well-wishers to create confusion among Congress workers. But there is no reason to betray the party. If there was a reason, it would have been a different matter. If I take such a stand, I will make it clear. My role has always been clearly stated before. In such a situation, if anything like this happens even now, I will announce it in front of everyone.”
