Rajasthan: “CM Gehlot’s Camp Put Three Conditions Which Cannot Be Fulfilled,” Says Ajay Maken

Jaipur, 26th September 2022: Ajay Maken, who was sent as a messenger for the legislature party meeting on behalf of the Congress high command, has openly said in front of the media about what has happened. According to reports, CM Ashok Gehlot’s attempt to keep the chair of the Chief Minister along with the Speaker has put both his posts in jeopardy.

Ajay Maken, who failed to talk to the MLAs along with Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday night and tried to persuade the Gehlot camp. Maken told the media how three MLAs of Gehlot camp came before him and put three conditions, which cannot be accepted. He also said that all the MLAs were not allowed to talk separately.

Maken said, “The meeting of the Congress Legislature Party was called with the consent of the Chief Minister. He had also fixed the place and time. We wanted to talk one by one with the MLAs who did not come. Shanti Dhariwali and Dr. Joshi and Pratap Khachariawas came to us. They put three conditions.”

Maken further said, “The first thing he said is to pass a resolution to leave the decision to the Congress President, but it is written that the decision will be taken after October 19. We said that when he becomes the Speaker on October 19 and decides on his own proposal, then there cannot be a bigger conflict of interest than this.

Second, when we said that we will talk one by one, he said that we will come and talk in the group. The third condition he put is that the 102 MLAs who were loyal to Gehlot at that time should be made from among them, Sachin Pilot or the people who were with him should not be included.”

Maken said, “They were adamant that all three conditions should be included in the proposal. We said this has not been a Congress tradition. There should be no conflict of interest in this. We forbade them. The Congress President will decide only after listening to everyone. We kept waiting, those people did not come. Now we will submit our report to Sonia Gandhi ji.

According to political experts, the Congress high command is also shocked and upset by the latest stand of Gehlot, who has been called very trustworthy of the Gandhi family. The way Gehlot’s supporters opposed the decision of the party leadership and the Chief Minister kept watching silently, after that Sonia and Rahul Gandhi are also said to be angry.
