Indapur, 25th November 2023: Amid a heated exchange of words, NCP leader and minister Chhagan Bhujbal has recently heightened his position on the ongoing reservation issue in Maharashtra, entering into a verbal confrontation with Manoj Jarange Patil. The two political figures are exchanging accusations and counter-accusations, bringing attention to the contentious topic.
Chhagan Bhujbal is set to make a significant appearance in Pune district, where substantial developments are anticipated. Bhujbal, a representative of the OBC reservation, is set to clash with Jarange Patil, who advocates for the Maratha reservation within the OBC quota. Chhagan Bhujbal’s crucial meeting is slated for December 9 in Indapur, Pune district.
Before the crucial meeting, Bhujbal will conduct a rally in Saswad Jejuri, Purandar taluka, where he is expected to receive a warm welcome from the Purandar OBC Reservation Rescue Committee. The minister’s participation in the event commemorating the memorial day of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule in Pune on November 28 adds additional significance to the ongoing debate.
Simultaneously, the Purandar OBC Reservation Defense Committee is organizing a meeting, advocating for the reservation rights of both the OBC and Maratha communities. The committee is steadfast in its demand that the Maratha community should receive reservation without compromising the existing OBC reservation.
