Pune: Ajit Pawar’s Absence from Public Events Due to Dengue Infection, Says Praful Patel

Pune, 29th October 2023: For the past two to three days, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has been noticeably absent from government and public events. Many of his scheduled appearances were cancelled, sparking renewed speculation about his well-being and political stance. However, former Union Minister Praful Patel, a close associate of Ajit Pawar, provided an explanation for his absence from the public eye. Patel shared the information about Ajit Pawar’s health condition through a tweet on ‘X’.

It was revealed that Ajit Pawar recently underwent a health check-up, which led to a diagnosis of dengue infection. As a result, he is expected to undergo medical treatment and adhere to a period of rest in the coming days. Given his health condition and medical advice, Ajit Pawar has decided not to attend public events for the time being.

Praful Patel tweeted on ‘X’ to clarify the situation, stating, “Contrary to speculative media reports suggesting that Shri Ajit Pawar is not attending public events, I would like to clarify that he has been diagnosed with dengue since yesterday and has been advised medical guidance and rest for the next few days. Shri Ajit Pawar remains committed to his public service responsibilities. Once he has fully recovered, he will be back in full force to continue his dedicated public duties.”
