PM Modi To Make 10 Lakh Recruitments In Central Government, Starting From Dhanteras; Know The Posts Along With Departments Here

New Delhi, 21st October 2022: PM Narendra Modi recently announced that he would make 10 lakh recruitments in central government departments. The implementation of the same will start from Dhanteras. On this occasion, PM Narendra Modi is going to hand over appointment letters to 75,000 new employees.

According to the PMO, the Prime Minister will also address the employees on this occasion. In June, PM Narendra Modi had announced that 10 lakh people would be recruited in central government jobs in the coming one and a half years. This means that this recruitment drive will be completed before the 2024 general election.

According to government sources, the maximum recruitment is in the Ministry of Defense. There are 2.5 lakh posts vacant. Apart from this, 2.9 lakh posts are to be filled in Railways. In the Ministry of Home Affairs, there will be recruitment of 1.2 lakh vacancies of C category. Out of these 10 lakh jobs, a total of 23,000 posts are of gazetted officers. Apart from this, 26 thousand belong to Group B.

92,000 posts of non-gazetted B category are also vacant. The maximum 8.4 lakh posts are of C group, whose recruitment is going to provide employment to a large number of people.

In the first round, a total of 38 departments are going to get 75 thousand new employees. The process of recruitment to a total of 10 lakh posts is to be completed through UPSC, SSC, Railway Recruitment Board and other institutions. There are vacancies in these posts ranging from Clerk, Income Tax Officer, Constable to Officer in Central Security Forces.
