Maharashtra: Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis Responds to Sushma Andhare About Her Tweets

Mumbai, 9th November 2023: Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, covered a variety of subjects, including security arrangements and the Lalit Patil case, during a recent interview. Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis also responded to Sushma Andhare, who initially voiced her concerns about security and police actions on the ‘X’ platform.

In a tweet, Sushma Andhare said on ‘X’, “Wake up Devendraji as police car stopped. What kind of security, what arrangement? Being friendly with the police first or dealing with? So what kind of wallets are being provided by slowly stopping the prisoner’s car at a deserted place? Venue: Pune Jail Road.” Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis and Shiv Sena UBT were tagged in this tweet too.

Responding to the tweets, Deputy Chief Minister Fadnavis assured that action would be taken after verifying the complaint and video that were shared, particularly in the case of Lalit Patil. He mentioned that in the Lalit Patil case, things have become clear and indicated that the issue of protection was also addressed.

Regarding the Maratha Reservation, Fadnavis explained that Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has expressed a commitment to providing the Maratha reservation, and they are taking necessary steps in this regard. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining social harmony, stating that it is the responsibility of rulers and political leaders to ensure justice for all communities and prevent any actions that could disrupt social harmony in the state.
