Kejriwal Says Good Quality Government Schools And Hospitals Can Help India Get Out Of Poverty

New Delhi, 16th August 2022: In a virtual press conference on Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that he wants to convert poor families to rich. Arvind Kejriwal also said that he is ready to work with the Modi government for achieving this.

CM Kejriwal said, “I want to make every poor rich. I don’t mind the rich. But how will a poor man become rich? If you are a poor farmer or a labourer, you send your child to a government school. The condition of government schools is unfortunately very bad. If that child does not study, then he too will grow up to do small work, and he will remain poor. Suppose we do very well and create good schools, then a poor child studies well and becomes a doctor or engineer, taking his family out of poverty. His family will earn a good living.”

He added, “If we give good education to 17 crore children, then the country can become rich. America became rich because it gives good education to every child. Britain and Denmark also give good education, so they are rich. If India also wants to become rich, then every person has to be given a good education. Every school has to be made good. Many more government schools will have to be opened. This work can be done in the whole country in 5 years. I offer to the central government that you take our service; we too belong to this country. Together, we all 130-crore people will fix schools across the country.”

“Government hospitals should be fixed and improved. Our responsibility does not end by just ensuring money. We also have to make services for the treatment of 130 crore people. Together we will fix this system in the country,” he added.
