Jantar Mantar Protest Live: Demonstrators Move Past Barricades, March Continues

New Delhi, 20th July 2026: The CJP Protest March towards Parliament intensified as groups of protesters moved past police barricades through nearby streets leading towards the Parliament complex. While activist Abhijeet Dipke and several organisers were stopped by Delhi Police, smaller groups continued moving ahead.

Meanwhile, the Monsoon Session of Parliament witnessed disruptions and was adjourned shortly after proceedings began. Reports have also emerged of an alleged lathi charge on some protesting students, though there has been no official confirmation. Police and protest organisers have continued urging demonstrators to remain calm and maintain a peaceful protest.
