I Made This Gujarat: PM Modi’s New Slogan For Gujarat Before Voting In December
Gujarat, 7th November 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the lead to win the Gujarat assembly elections. PM Modi said on Sunday that the people of the state will throw out the forces that spread hatred and defame Gujarat in the assembly elections to be held next month. Along with this, he also claimed to have won the BJP’s record votes in the elections to be held next month. Voting for the Gujarat Assembly elections is to be held in two phases on December 1 and 5. The counting of votes will take place on December 8.
Addressing the first election rally in his home state Gujarat after the announcement of the assembly election schedule, Modi also gave a new slogan in Gujarati, “Aa Gujarat Main Banavyu Che (I have made this Gujarat).” In a 25-minute long speech, people got this slogan many times.
Launching the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election campaign from Nana Pondha village in Kaprada taluka of tribal-dominated Valsad district, Prime Minister Modi said the divisive forces, which have been indulging in spreading hatred, have tried to defame and insult Gujarat. They have been shown the way out of Gujarat. The people of Gujarat will never accept those who spread hatred.
He said that those who tried to defame and insult Gujarat in the past have been shown the way out by the people of Gujarat. The result of such people will be the same in this election as well. Without naming anyone, Modi said the people of Gujarat have recognized the ‘gang’ which is working against Gujarat and always tries to defame the state. He said that though such people have been trying for two decades, the people of Gujarat never trusted them.
PM Modi said that those trying to defame Gujarat are wondering why the people of Gujarat are not trusting their false propaganda. This is because the people of this state have made Gujarat with hard work, and they will not allow anyone to harm it. The Prime Minister said that he is getting information that the BJP will win the elections in Gujarat with a record number of votes.
Modi said that sitting in Delhi, he is getting reports that BJP will win this time in Gujarat with record votes. I have come here to break my old record (win margin for BJP). I have told Gujarat BJP that I am ready to give you as much time as possible for campaigning.
Significantly, before taking oath as the Prime Minister of the country in 2014, Modi used to be the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The BJP’s best performance in Gujarat was in the elections held under Modi in December 2002, when the party won 127 seats out of 182. At the same time, in the elections held in 2017 for the 182-member assembly, 99 seats came for the BJP and 77 for the Congress.
Modi asked the people to remember that the BJP’s election symbol ‘lotus’ has brought prosperity to the region and it is like the BJP candidates. He said that whether tribal or fishermen, rural or urban, every Gujarati today is full of faith, so every Gujarati says ‘Aa Gujarat Main Banavyu Che (This Gujarat I have made)’. People have made this state with their hard work. The Prime Minister said that since every Gujarati is full of faith, this is the reason why he speaks his Mann Ki Baat. This voice comes from every heart of Gujarat ‘Aa Gujarat me banavyu che (I have made this Gujarat)’.
He said that till a few decades ago, there was not a single school imparting science education in the tribal areas of the state, but today, tribals have access to science colleges and universities built in their area. Modi said there are now five medical colleges in the entire tribal-dominated region from Umargam in South Gujarat to Ambaji in North Gujarat. The Prime Minister said that today people are getting 24 hours electricity, and he has been told that 100 per cent of households in the state are getting tap water.
