Vandana Chavan, MLA Sunil Tingre, MLA Chetan Tupe, City President Prashant Jagtap and multiple former officials were present. During this meeting, an executive officer said that Ajit Pawar should take the post of Home Minister after regaining power in the state. Speaking on it, Ajit Pawar expressed his regret that he did not get the post of Home Minister despite his demand.

“It was demanded that the Home Minister should be made after the Maha Vikas Aghadi government came to the state. Even after I was made Deputy Chief Minister, I demanded the post of Home Minister from my seniors. However, Anil Deshmukh was given the post of Home Minister,” NCP leader, former Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar expressed his regret at the public meeting of NCP that this responsibility was handed over to Dilip Valse-Patil after Deshmukh. “Seniors may be afraid that if I become Home Minister, I will not listen to anyone,” he said. Ajit Pawar also said that he should not have been given a home account.

After coming to power in the state, he demanded the post of Home Minister, but Anil Deshmukh was made the Home Minister. “After Anil Deshmukh, I again demanded the post of Home Minister from my seniors. But even then, that responsibility was entrusted to Dilip Valse Patil,” he explained. As soon as Ajit Pawar said that because of the fear that he would not listen, the seniors should not have given him this responsibility, there was laughter in the hall.

Pawar said, “I always do what I think is right. If a party worker misbehaves, he will not be forgiven. Same rule for all. If the workers are being treated unfairly, I will stand firmly behind them. However, if he does wrong, he will not be backed.” On this occasion, Ajit Pawar reviewed four assembly constituencies of NCP city, including Hadapsar, Vadgaonsheri, Parvati and Pune Cantonment.
