Good Governance Is The Most Essential Condition For Success Of Government Works: PM Modi During Post-Budget Webinar
New Delhi, 27th February 2023: In a post-budget webinar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the budget. PM Modi said in this post-budget webinar that there has been an old concept in the country that the welfare of the people and the development of the country is done only by money. “It is not so, money is necessary for the development of the country and the countrymen, but it also requires a mind. Good governance is the most essential condition for the success of government works and schemes,” he said.
Prime Minister Modi further said in the webinar that earlier it used to take several decades for the vaccine to reach far-flung areas in the country. “Crores of children in the country had to wait for the vaccine. If we had worked with the old system, it would have taken several decades to make the vaccination coverage 100%. We started Mission Indradhanush and perfected it,” he said.
Prime Minister Modi further said, “Till 2019, three crore houses in rural areas used to get water from the tap, which has now increased to more than 11 crores. The work of 60,000 Amrit Sarovar started in a year. Till now, more than 30,000 have been built. May this campaign improve the lives of people far and wide, who were waiting for such a system for years.”
