Congress Will Win The Hare-Tortoise Race: Nana Patole

Pune, 12th February 2023: Maharashtra State President of Congress, Nana Patole, interacted with reporters when he came to Pune on Saturday to campaign for the by-elections in Chinchwad and Kasba assembly constituencies, and to guide office bearers and workers.

“The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has everything, like money and social media fame…they should run forward like a happy rabbit. We will move forward at the speed of a tortoise but with the people’s blessings,” Patole expressed.

Patole added, “Home Minister Amit Shah is coming for the by-elections in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad, which shows the fear in the mind of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Balasaheb Thorat is a senior Congress leader. He is our ‘star campaigner’ in terms of by-elections. The Tambe family dispute was their internal family matter. Congress party leaders have taken action, so it is inappropriate for us to comment on it.” He further commented, “Bharatiya Janata Party says that Congress raised Gautam Adani. However, if that is the case, where was Adani in the last 50 years, and why did he come into the limelight only in the last eight-nine years? If Adani is such a gentleman, why is the Prime Minister not saying anything?”

“Sudhir Mungantiwar is right in saying that Rahul Gandhi does not have common sense like PM Modi. Rahul Gandhi tries to unite the country. He tries to protect the Constitution of the country. But Prime Minister Modi does not respect the Constitution. He divides Hindu-Muslims. This shows the difference between Modi and Rahul Gandhi. That is why I agree with Mungantiwar’s statement,” Patole said.
