Canal works of Nilwande in Ahmednagar district to be completed by end of December – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde

Mumbai, 14th October 2022: Canal works of Nilwande in Ahmednagar district shall be completed by the end of December 2022. So that the water is made available to the farmers of this area, said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The chief minister has instructed the water.

The chief minister has chaired a meeting at Mantralaya to review the canal works of Nilwande. In this meeting, the Chief Minister Shri Shinde said that 85 percent of the work of the left canal and 72 percent of the work of the right canal of Nilwande has been completed. After completing the work of these two canals by the end of December, water shall be made available to the farmers of this area. The Chief Minister also instructed to provide additional human resources for this purpose. MP Shri Lokhande said that the citizens of approximately 83 villages will be benefited from the water.
