Supreme Court To Hear Matter Regarding Real Shiv Sena Tomorrow
Mumbai, 6th September 2022: On Wednesday, the Supreme Court will hear the matter regarding the real Shiv Sena.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s faction has requested the court for an urgent hearing of the matter.
It should be noted that the BMC elections in Maharashtra are going to be held very soon, given this, the Shinde faction wants that the real Shiv Sena should be decided at the earliest.
Today, on behalf of the Eknath Shinde faction, senior advocate Neeraj Kishan Kaul appeared in the Supreme Court. He has appealed for an urgent hearing in this matter. CJI UU Lalit and Justice S Ravindra Bhatt said that they can list the matter for hearing on Wednesday.
CJI UU Lalit said, “I cannot say anything clearly, but tomorrow something will happen.”
While talking about the urgent hearing of the matter, Senior Advocate Kaul said, “The apex court had referred the matter to the Constitution Bench of five judges.”
He added, “The local body elections are about to be held in Maharashtra, the matter should be decided at the earliest.”
The struggle for the identification of the real Shiv Sena is going on in Maharashtra. Calling themselves the real Shiv Sena, the Shinde faction and the Uddhav Thackeray faction are staking claims on the various traditions of the party.
