Rahul Gandhi Speaks On Final Day Of National Congress Convention, Question BJP And PM Modi’s Relation With Adani
Raipur, 26th February 2023: Today is the third and last day of the 85th National Convention of Congress. The session concluded on Sunday afternoon with the speech of Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge. Addressing the convention on the last day, Rahul Gandhi referred to the Bharat Jodo Yatra. He said that during this visit, he met all sections of the country and learned a lot.
Sharing his experience of the Bharat Jodo Yatra, he said, “I thought I was fit and would walk 20-25 KMs; but as soon as the yatra started, the old knee pain returned, and within 10-15 days, my ego was gone. Bharat Mata gave me a message – If you have set out to walk from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, remove your ego from your heart; otherwise, don’t walk,” Gandhi said.
Talking about the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Rahul Gandhi said, “I opened a front against an industrialist in Parliament. I showed a photo in which Modiji is sitting in a plane with Adani. When I asked what is the relationship, all the ministers of the BJP government started protecting Adani. BJP is protecting that person; the question is, why? These companies are sending thousands of crores of rupees to India. To whom does it belong? Whose money is involved in this? Why is the investigation not being done, and why is the JPC not being formed?” Gandhi questioned.
Rahul Gandhi said, “Congress is a party of austerity people. Four months of austerity have yielded very good results. This austerity should not be allowed to stop. All Congress workers will join this austerity and give their blood and sweat to the country.”
