225 Projects Worth 2 Lakh Crore Approved For Maharashtra, Announces PM Modi

New Delhi, 3rd November 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has informed that 225 projects worth 2 lakh crores have been approved in Maharashtra. An employment fair was organized in Mumbai and appointment letters were distributed on this occasion. Speaking on this occasion, PM Modi expressed his belief that there will be more employment opportunities for the youth in Maharashtra in the future.
PM Modi said, “The government is giving potential financial assistance to startups, and small enterprises so that the youth will get a chance to show their skills. Through the efforts of the government, employment opportunities are being made available to Dalits, tribals, and women equally.”
“In the last eight years, eight crore women have been linked to self-help groups. They have been assisted with five and a half lakh crores. Women associated with this group are also employing other women,” he added.
He added further, “Today, the government is investing heavily in infrastructure, IT, and other sectors across the country. This is creating new employment opportunities. In Maharashtra, Rs 75,000 crores have been allocated for railways and Rs 50,000 crores for road development projects.”
