Uttar Pradesh: PM Modi Inaugurates Development Projects Worth 19,100 Crores in Bulandshahr
Bulandshahr, 25th January 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Bulandshahr and inaugurated development projects worth 19,100 crores. The Prime Minister, displaying green flags to freight trains from two stations in Bulandshahr, marked the commencement of the 173-kilometer-long electrified section between New Khurja and New Rewari, known as the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC).
During the event, Prime Minister Modi stated, “It is our good fortune that the country has realized the dreams of many individuals like Kalyan Singh, but to fulfill the vision of building a strong nation and achieving true social justice, we need to increase our pace. For this, we must work together. In Ayodhya, I had mentioned in the presence of Lord Ram that the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol has been accomplished, and now it is time to elevate the dignity of the nation.”
He continued to emphasize, “Decades after gaining independence, development in India was restricted to specific sectors for an extended duration. A substantial portion of the country continued to be devoid of progress” Uttar Pradesh, with the highest population in the country, did not receive adequate attention. This happened because those in power here behaved more like rulers for a long time. Keeping the public in ignorance, creating divisions in society, and using the simplest means to gain power. Several generations in Uttar Pradesh have paid the price for this, and the country has also suffered greatly.”
Prior to this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making two crucial decisions in the last three days. One decision is the launch of a new scheme for rooftop solar in 1 crore houses, and the other is conferring the Bharat Ratna upon Karpuri Thakur to advance social justice by honoring the marginalized, oppressed, and Dalits.
Following the consecration of Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, this marks Prime Minister Modi’s first address. Every word uttered by the elated Prime Minister carries significance. While remembering Kalyan Singh, a key figure in the temple movement, there is a possibility of emotional recollections. During this time, efforts to bridge the divide between East and West Uttar Pradesh will be emphasized. Prime Minister Modi, remembering Karpuri Thakur, Chaudhary Charan Singh, and Kalyan Singh, is likely to appeal to the OBC votes as well.
