Pune: Muralidhar Mohol Now Has Responsibility For Leaders’ Meetings
Pune, 1st September 2022: Former mayor of Pune Murlidhar Mohol has been appointed as the Regional Coordinator of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Central Leader Travel Scheme Committee. He has been given the responsibility of Western Maharashtra.
With the appointment of Mohol, there is concern within the BJP. Mohol, who is an important leader of BJP in Pune politics, is considered to be the reason for expressing the protection of entrusting the planning of leaders’ tours and meetings.
Chandrakant Patil has been entrusted with the responsibility of Minister for Higher and Technical Education. Patil was the Maharashtra state president of the BJP. His term of office was till next February. However, Chandrasekhar Bawankule was appointed in his place as the responsibility of the minister was given to him. The new state president has made new appointments which include the appointment of Mohol.
BJP has various committees in its organizational structure. Among them, the central leader is the Travel Planning Committee. The coordinator as well as co-convenors are responsible for coordinating the travel, meetings and entire tour of the central leaders in the respective states. Municipalities, Zilla Parishads and Lok Sabha elections will be held in the coming period. After the Lok Sabha elections, the Maharashtra Assembly elections are held. Mohol is considered a possible candidate for the Pune Lok Sabha. Therefore, it is considered a reason to feel safe that they have been given the responsibility of the travel plan.
After BJP came to power in the Municipal Corporation in 2017, Mohol became the Chairman of the Standing Committee. He then became the mayor. He held the post of mayor for almost two and a half years. Mohol is seen as one of the important leaders of the Pune BJP in the coming period. After one and a half years, the Lok Sabha elections are due. It is believed that Mohol’s name is at the forefront as BJP’s MP candidate in this election.
