PM Modi Visits Mumbai, Many Offices Shut Down After 12

Mumbai, 19th January 2023: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Mumbai, private offices in the area were given a holiday after 12 noon on Thursday. The Prime Minister is in Mumbai for an event in the Bandra-Kurla complex. As a result, many employees from offices in the Bandra-Kurla complex area waited to go home after 12 noon. Meanwhile, keeping in mind the rush in the Bandra-Kurla complex area, some companies had advised the employees to work from home on Thursday.

Keeping in mind the crowd on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Mumbai and the foundation-laying of various projects, the Mumbai Police has made strict arrangements. A large force of police has been deployed at the meeting place in the Bandra-Kurla complex. There was a rumour that keeping in mind the security issue, offices and other business centres in the Bandra-Kurla complex will be closed, and the employees should work from home. The Mumbai Police denied this on Wednesday. It was also clarified that the daily business in this area will continue.

However, after 12 noon on Thursday, the employees of many private offices in the Bandra-Kurla complex were allowed to go home. The employees of some offices were called early in the morning. Some office workers were instructed to do office work from home. Employees of many companies’ offices left for home around 12 noon. Due to this, the buses going towards Kurla and Bandra stations were crowded. Passengers were also waiting for the bus at the bus stop or running to catch a rickshaw.
