Manoj Jarange Patil Vows to Continue Reservation Fight for Dhangar and Muslim Communities
Jalna, 30th January 2024: After successfully leading the movement for the Maratha reservation, Manoj Jarange Patil continues his advocacy for community rights. Following a massive protest in Mumbai and the subsequent achievement of the Maratha reservation, he is set to extend his efforts for the welfare of other communities.
In an interaction with the media, Manoj Jarange Patil emphasized that the government bears the responsibility to prove the backwardness of the Maratha community. He expressed satisfaction over the success of the Maratha reservation movement but stressed that the fight for justice is far from over.
Manoj Jarange Patil has pledged to continue the struggle for reservation rights, stating that if the Maratha community secures reservation, he will fight for the rights of the Dhangar and Muslim communities. He affirmed his commitment to supporting these communities in their quest for reservation benefits.
Highlighting the significance of the new law providing reservations for Marathas, Manoj Jarange Patil mentioned that it not only benefits the Maratha community but also extends its positive impact to those in close relations. He assured that no Maratha individual would be excluded from OBC status, and the celebration of this achievement would be marked by Mahadiwali festivities.
Responding to Minister Chhagan Bhujbal’s threat to resign if nothing was done for OBCs, Manoj Jarange Patil criticized Bhujbal’s timing and accused him of trying to create divisions between OBCs and Marathas for personal gain. He asserted that the Maharashtra state government is not intimidated by Bhujbal’s actions and questioned the sincerity of his resignation offer.
