Maharashtra CM Shinde Directs Immediate Relief To Those Affected By Torrential Rain

Mumbai, 8th September 2022: Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has directed to immediately provide necessary assistance to citizens who incurred damage due to cloudburst and heavy rains in some parts of Pune, Satara, Raigad, Nashik, and Ahmednagar in the last few days.

Some parts of Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune, Satara, and Raigad districts have received heavy rain parallel to a cloudburst. The Chief Minister has acquired information about the heavy rains from the Chief Secretary and the District Collectors of Pune and Satara.

Chief Minister Eknath Shinde gave instructions to provide necessary assistance to the people who have incurred damage due to the rain. He has also instructed the Chief Secretary to stay in touch with the District Collectors to get information about the damage and the relief work.
