Maharashtra: 15 Villages of Ambegaon Taluka In Pune District To Receive Network By April 2023

Pune, 28th August 2022: 15 villages in the remote tribal areas of the Ambegaon Taluka of Pune district have been unreachable for years. Some of these areas still face difficulties in receiving mobile range. Therefore, citizens demanded that BSNL company towers should be built in this area.

Accordingly, the former Home Minister of the state, Dilip Valse Patil, gave instructions to the concerned department to conduct an inspection two months ago.

According to this, the former chairman of Ambegaon Panchayat Samiti Sanjay Gawari informed that the BSNL company approved towers for 15 villages after conducting a survey.

According to the survey by BSNL, towers of the company have been approved in 15 villages, including Sakeri, Megholi, Nandurki Wadi, Phulwade, Pimpri, Savarli, Kushire Budruk, Patan, Nhaved, Borghar, Tirpad, Aghane, Pimpergane, Mhalunge, Ambegaon, and Ahupe. About 3267 sq ft of space is required for these towers. The towers will be operated on solar energy, and the range of the tower will be up to one kilometre. Also, 4G network will be available through these towers.

The work of erecting the towers will be completed by April 2023, and the Gram Panchayats of the respective villages have been requested to provide suitable space. BSNL has informed that the work will begin immediately where the places are available.
