Indian Soldiers Are My Family, Diwali Can’t Be Sweeter Than This: Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Srinagar, 24th October 2022: Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates Diwali with Indian soldiers every year. This year, he celebrated Diwali with Indian soldiers at Kargil Dras in Jammu and Kashmir. On this occasion, he interacted with the soldiers. Also, while addressing the soldiers this time, Narendra Modi said that Diwali cannot be sweeter than this.
He said, “This land of Kargil is a symbol of power. The feeling of bowing to this land brings me here again and again. For me, the soldiers of the country have been my family for the past several years. My Diwali is sweeter after being here. You have my Diwali spirit. I have been able to celebrate Diwali with you for the past several years. This is my good fortune, said Narendra Modi addressing the soldiers.”
‘’Even the sky bows before your (soldier) bravery. The Kargil area is a symbol of the bravery of the Indian Army. Even the enemy sitting on the summit becomes small before the courage of the Indian Army. You (soldiers) are the protectors of the border and the important pillar of the country. The people of the country are happy because you are at the border of the country. Every citizen of our country is trying to give integrity to the security of the country. A country is safe only when its borders are secure, its economy is strong, and its society is full of self-confidence. After hearing about the strength of the country, the morale of the soldiers will also increase,’’ the PM said.
Today, the citizens of the country have participated in the cleanliness campaign. When a poor person gets a solid house, drinking water, and gas for cooking on time, even a soldier of the country feels proud. Modi also said when facilities reach the soldier’s city or village, he feels better at the border.
