Gehlot’s Magic Has Come To An End, Will The Chief Minister Remain, Or Will He Be Removed?

New Delhi, 30th September 2022: The Gandhi family’s trust in Ashok Gehlot has weakened to such an extent that, he who was leading the race for president till Sunday evening, is now out of it. Not only this, but now doubts have arisen regarding the post of CM.

The relationship of trust between Ashok Gehlot and the Gandhi family has also been seen to be broken by mistakes that were made. The Gandhi family’s trust in Ashok Gehlot has weakened to such an extent that he, who was leading the race for president till Sunday evening, is now out of it. Doubts have arisen regarding the post of CM too. Ashok Gehlot, who was close to Sonia Gandhi, had to now stand in line to meet her from Wednesday but was barely able to get time.

Showing a surrendering attitude about the rebellion of the MLAs, he said, I am very hurt by this.

He also said, ‘’I have apologized to Sonia Gandhi for this. I am sad that the decades-old tradition of passing resolutions in one line has been broken for the first time. I was ready to contest the election for the post of president, but the incident which has happened in the past, after that, now I want to make it clear that I will not contest for the election of the President.’’

However, there is a discussion about whether Ashok Gehlot has decided not to contest for the post of president or whether Sonia Gandhi has distanced him from it. Ashok Gehlot has given fuel to these speculations by saying that Sonia Gandhi is the one who has to take a decision regarding the post of CM. It is being interpreted that the post of CM may also be taken away from Ashok Gehlot, who was out of the race for president.

Ashok Gehlot also admitted in a conversation with the media that his image has been tarnished by the developments on Sunday. He said that such a message went across the country that Ashok Gehlot is infatuated with the CM’s chair. During this, Ashok Gehlot also mentioned the experience and trust of working with Indira Gandhi to Sonia Gandhi. However, it has to be seen whether the trust established for three generations is now able to return or whether Ashok Gehlot has moved towards an irreparable loss.
