Four Maharashtra MPs Including Supriya Sule And Shrirang Barane Rank In Top Ten For Active Participation In Lok Sabha

Pimpri/Baramati, 24th March 2023: Gateway Political Strategic, an organization that analyzes the performance of parliamentarians in the country, has released a report based on information from the Lok Sabha’s website regarding the performance of MPs in the ongoing budget session of the seventeenth Lok Sabha.

The report reveals that four of the top ten active MPs in Parliament are from Maharashtra, with NCP MP Supriya Sule from Baramati ranking first and Shiv Sena MP Shrirang Barne from Maval ranking second. The list includes three BJP MPs, three Shiv Sena MPs, one Congress MP, and two DMK MPs.

According to the report, MP Shrirang Barane has asked 508 questions and participated in 148 discussions in the 17th Lok Sabha, with a 94% attendance rate and introducing ten percent of private bills. Meanwhile, NCP MP Supriya Sule leads the pack, while Shiv Sena MPs Shrikant Shinde and Rahul Shewale rank eighth and ninth, respectively.

Commenting on his performance, MP Shrirang Barane said, “I am honored to have been entrusted with the responsibility to represent Maval in Parliament for two consecutive terms.”
