Eknath Shinde Reaches Delhi For 5th Time After Taking Oath, Refuses To Answer Question Regarding Cabinet
Mumbai, 27th July 2022: 26 days have passed since Eknath Shinde was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra but the cabinet has not been announced yet.
According to reports, there is no talk between the Shinde faction of BJP and Shiv Sena regarding ministerial distribution. Shinde has again reached Delhi. It is being said that before the start of the assembly session next month, he might announce the ministers. This is Shinde’s fifth visit to Delhi after taking the oath.
Maharashtra has had a two-man cabinet ever since Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis took the oath.
As chief minister, Shinde aspires to have important ministries.
According to sources, Fadnavis, Amit Shah and JP Nadda, want the BJP to get good representation in the cabinet.
Deepak Kesarkar, the spokesman for the Shiv Sena rebel group, denied this.
When Shinde was asked about his Delhi visit, he did not answer the question.
