Delhi Liquor Scam: SC To Hear Manish Sisodia’s Petition Against His Arrest Today

New Delhi, 28th February 2023: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has moved the Supreme Court (SC) to challenge his arrest. Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi referred to the petition against the arrest of Manish Sisodia in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear Manish Sisodia’s petition today.

Delhi’s Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested after an interrogation on Sunday in the liquor scam case. On Monday, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) protested across the country against the arrest of Manish Sisodia. During this, AAP leaders fiercely attacked the central government.

A day earlier, Sisodia was sent to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) custody till 4th March by the special CBI court at Rouse Avenue. He was arrested on Sunday after eight hours of questioning.
