Cabinets Expansion In Bihar To Take Place Today; See The Names Of Possible Candidates
Patna, 16th August 2022: The first cabinet expansion of the new Grand Alliance government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in Bihar will take place today.
Governor Fagu Chauhan will administer the oath of office to about 30 MLAs at Raj Bhavan. RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav was scheduled to reach the capital Patna on Monday, but he did not come due to ill health.
According to reports, the RJD involved in the Grand Alliance is almost certain to get 17, JDU 13, Congress 2, HAM one and Independents one ministerial post.
However, not all of these ministers will be administered the oath today. Some posts will be kept vacant for the future.
Only two ministers will take oath from the 19 MLAs Congress in the Bihar Assembly. Among them, the names of Afaq Alam and Murari Gautam have been finalized.
The speculated ministers from RJD are:
Tej Pratap Yadav, Alok Mehta, Kumar Sarvjeet, Sameer Mahaseth, Anita Devi, Lalit Yadav, Rishi Kumar, Surendra Yadav, Chandrashekhar, Karthik Kumar, Sudhakar Singh, Shamim Ahmed, Rannvijay Sahu and Akhtarul Islam Shaheen
The speculated ministers from JDU are:
Vijay Kumar Choudhary, Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Shravan Kumar, Sanjay Jha, Ashok Kumar Choudhary, Leshi Singh, Madan Sahni, Jama Khan, Sunil Kumar and Sheela Mandal
Awadh Bihari Chaudhary may become the speaker from RJD. Alok Mehta can also be made the Speaker of the Assembly.
