Bihar Political Situation Intensifies; Nitish Kumar Says ‘People Will Explain Reasons’
Bihar, 9th August 2022: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has said, on the situation with the BJP, that a lot has happened which the people of his party will tell. He made the statement when he came out of the Raj Bhavan in Patna after submitting his resignation to the Governor as the CM of the NDA Government.
Outside the Raj Bhavan, Kumar stated that in the meeting of the JDU MLAs, MLCs, and MPs, everyone agreed that ties with the BJP should be severed, so they had come to Raj Bhavan to resign the NDA government. When journalists asked him about the situation with the BJP, Kumar indicated that there were multiple problems but that his people would explain the situation.
Multiple reasons point at Kumar and the JDU being indignant with the BJP. It began with the removal of Sushil Modi from Bihar, which was further aggravated by the ‘jugalbandi’ of the Bihar BJP in-charge Bhupendra Yadav and Union Minister Nityanand Rai. The BJP leaders constantly made statements that unsettled Kumar.
Following this, there was an open debate with Speaker Vijay Sinha in the Bihar Assembly, after which Nitish Kumar asked the BJP to change the speaker, which was ignored. Then came the episode of RCP Singh who was assumed to be playing on behalf of the BJP. Whether it is the question of becoming a minister at the Center or on many other issues, the BJP’s voice was against JDU. The straw was pulled with the migration of BJP leaders to 240 assembly seats in Bihar and BJP President JP Nadda saying that only the BJP will be left, and all other parties will be destroyed.
