Amid Doubts of Arrests, Arvind Kejriwal to Visit Gujarat

Delhi, 4th January 2024: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is scheduled to embark on a three-day tour of the state of Gujarat from January 6th to 8th, despite uncertainties surrounding potential arrests in the Delhi Liquor case.

According to sources, Kejriwal plans to address several rallies during his visit and is likely to meet with jailed AAP MLA Chaitar Vasava and his family.

The visit is anticipated to mark the commencement of his party’s campaign for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, prompting the decision to visit Gujarat, where the Aam Aadmi Party has established a presence, as confirmed by reports.

AAP leaders have raised concerns, alleging that the central government may engage in political maneuvering, using the Delhi Liquor case as a fabricated pretext to curb the rise of the Aam Aadmi Party and potentially arrest Chief Minister Kejriwal.
