BJP Issues Whip for Members to Attend Parliament on February 10th
New Delhi, 9th February 2004: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has directed all its members to be present in the House on February 10th. It is noteworthy that the budget session of Parliament is scheduled to conclude on February 10th. Originally, the session was planned to end by February 9th, but it was extended by a day. Consequently, it is speculated that something significant might unfold on the last day of the budget session in Parliament.
According to sources, the BJP has issued a three-line whip to its members in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to ensure their presence in the House on February 10th, as there might be discussions on some crucial legislative matters in both houses.
In the Upper House, BJP’s Chief Whip, Laxmikant Bajpai, has issued the whip urging party MPs to support the government’s stance by being present in the Rajya Sabha on February 10th.
In a letter issued by Laxmikant Bajpai, all BJP members of the Rajya Sabha have been informed that some extremely important legislative matters will be discussed and passed in the Rajya Sabha on Saturday, February 10th, 2024. All BJP members are requested to be present in the House throughout the day on Saturday and support the government.
