All India Congress: Major Reshuffle of 10 State Chiefs Ahead of Lok Sabha Election 2024
New Delhi, 16 June, 2023: Preparations for major changes in the All-India National Congress are going on ahead of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024. Currently, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and the Gandhi family are working together to reshuffle and finalise the list of state presidents and secretaries.
The party aims to be more inclusive in character, by providing more representation to the OBCs, Dalits, and minorities. With less than a year left for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the party is leaving no stone unturned.
As part of this process, leaders in numerous states, including West Bengal, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, and Maharashtra, may see new faces take command. The party’s president aims to announce a formal working committee soon, as authorized during the AICC session in Nagpur.
These developments are anticipated prior to the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament.
Overall, this wave of major transition within the Congress party indicates their commitment to strengthen their organisation in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.
